Major nostalgia rush to see the king, took me back to old hawaii 50 days. But the history of the palace and its king has much deeper meaning. See them both, king and palace.

From Waikiki in about 90mins walking distance. On foot you also have the opportunity to better explore the other historic buildings and the Aloha Tower.

Worth checking out. Do a little research before you visit to understand the importance of this man and the statue.

Classic Honolulu. Walk all the way around to read the stories along the base.
