Very historic, lots of fun and interesting things to do, transit accessible, and has some of the DC areas most beautiful buildings. Traffic can be a hassle.

We stayed at the peake-Fairfax bed and breakfast right off king st. It was amazing and the owners were the sweetest most inviting couple I've ever met.

I attend graduate school here. It's a very nice community. Coming from the upper Midwest, I did not expect people to be as friendly – but they are. ????

Convenient city for tourists who visit Washington DC. Decent price hotels, Metro stops, restaurants, and shops.
